The Devil Wears Prada did a cover of Still Fly by the Big Timers and I don’t know why but I’m amazed by it.
It’s almost been a year with my iPhone. I haven’t switched to the 3G but this baby has been with me longer than any cell phone I’ve owned. I’ve loved it and hated that there still isn’t video or MMS.
After the 2.0 update I’ve been checking out applications through the App Store, hoping that I’ll find something useful. I’ve downloaded, officially, 5 pages of apps. Here they are:

In order to give my old theme the correct goodbye, I thought I’d upload a screenshot of its glory days:
I’d love to hear what you think about the new theme. <3
I’m working on a new theme at the moment and haven’t completed it. I’m hoping that over the next couple of days it will be ready to go, but in the mean time I will be using this theme.
Hang in tight, and be sure to check in when the new theme is up and running.
Ahh, I’ve been spending way too much time trying to organize my iTunes. It’s been in a jumbled mess for years now and it’s been getting on my nerves. The problem is I have an enormous amount of music, 7445 songs divided by 934 artists to be exact. I started by doing it alphabetically doing it by artists and I’m down to the B’s. =) My goal by the end of this week is to get down to the E’s. Hopefully.
The other thing is I would like to find a cleaner, but fun wordpress theme by the end of the week. Any ideas?
As I have been reading and skimming through other blogs this past week I have decided to make a quick, and simple list of the top four things that make a good blog. I have seen wonderful blogs, poor executed blogs, and just plain spamming blogs.
4. Voice
Make yourself known. What’s your name? Can your readers figure this out easily? Why you are blogging, and what about.
3. Posting Regularly
Ok, I have learned this first hand because of my recent lack of posting. Information is a must! And if you have more of a personal feel you must update regularly.
2. Design
I cannot stress design enough. I’m a little biased in this category because I’m in love with design, but who wants to stay on a blog that isn’t appealing to the eye?
1. Content
Make valuable content that links together. Don’t just write a sentence and expect people to want to come back, even if it’s just a quick hello add a little more than just that. Find that place of writing enough but not too much.
On our second day trip down to Myrtle Beach we visited the Hard Rock Park. I’m reluctant to say that I do not have and pictures from the park because I was afraid that I would lose my camera on the rides. The truth of the matter I would have been able to have my camera, my cell phone and maybe even a medium sized balloon dog with me on the rides and not have lost any of it. I was a little disappointed, I was expecting bigger rollercoasters and more rides in general. The list of what I did and what I thought:
When you enter the hanger to get on the ride you first stand in line and watch a presentation about safety and other tidbits about the ride. Then you are ushered into a small enclosure which plays an interesting informational video about Led Zeppelin. The actual ride sends you through 6 loops as you listen to Led Zeppelin through the whole process. I would recommend the ride for fans and others, though the ride was a little too short for my completely satisfaction.
Nights In White Satin – The Trip
At first you walk around and see different intriguing imagery, then pick up a pair of 3D glasses and head for the ride. It’s a world of 3D heaven. After the ride ends you walk through more hallways filled with crazy images. One of my favorites!
Eagles – Life In The Fast Lane
This is the longest ride in the park and is Eagles themed. I thought it was fun, but it still wasn’t packing the punch I was looking for.
The ride gives you a chance to get off your feet and take a breather while looking around at the park.
So overall, I was disappointed but still had a blast. It’s definitely family oriented with a Hard Rock feel. The one thing that discouraged me the most was that after every ride you exited into a gift shop, very annoying. If you’re looking for a wonderful amusement park without exceptional rides then this would be a good place to visit if you’re ever near Myrtle, but if you’re looking for rides I would recommend finding another park.
